We will be starting our unit on immigration in Social Studies very soon! Immigration Day for fourth grade is on March 10th.
Our class will be singing the TOUR THE STATES song for students and parents on this day - I am attaching the link below to the youtube video of the song and they each received a copy of the lyrics which is coming home with them today in case they want to practice at home!
SOCIAL STUDIES MIDWEST TEST ON FEBRUARY 2nd - Study guides were sent home today - please have your child study the states, capitals, abbreviations, and location on a map a little bit each night to help to ensure success on the test.

Mythmasters Program - February 13th
BOOK REPORT AND PROJECT (POSTER OR MODEL) ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 15TH
February vaca is from the 20th - 25th
Immigration Day - March 10th
Valentine's Day - February 14th - information will be coming home soon, but a few things to keep in mind:
**HANDING OUT VALENTINES IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL
**IF YOUR CHILD DOES DECIDE TO HAND THEM OUT, HE/SHE IS REQUIRED TO GIVE ONE TO ALL STUDENTS IN THE CLASS
**FOOD CANNOT BE INCLUDED IN THE VALENTINES
